Journeys End

During World War I, Second Lieutenant Raleigh is assigned to serve under Captain Stanhope, who copes with the horrors of war through heavy drinking, and tension rises among the officers as news of a German attack reaches them, resulting in heavy casualties and ultimately leading to Raleighs death in Stanhopes care, while the story ends with the Germans surveying the captured trenches and Raleighs sister receiving a letter from him. Journeys End is a 2017 English-language Drama War film featuring Sam Claflin, Asa Butterfield, Paul Bettany, Tom Sturridge, Toby Jones, Stephen Graham and Charles Le Grove. The movie is inspired from Journey s End by R. C. Sherriff. Fluidity Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Guy De Beaujeu and Simon Reade. Journeys End is written by Simon Reade and directed by Saul Dibb. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the film. Journeys End was released on 3rd March 2021 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released.
