Joshila

A jailors daughter falls in love with a man in prison and helps him get released, but he later takes on his friends identity and discovers a plot against the estate owner, culminating in a happy ending with his marriage to the jailors daughter. Joshila is a 1973 Indian Hindi-language Drama Thriller movie starring Dev Anand, Hema Malini, Raakhee, Pran Krishan Sikand, Bindu Desai, Madan Puri and Laxmi Chhaya. Chandivali Studio in association with Filmistan Studios and Rajkamal Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gulshan Rai. Joshila is written by Akhtar Ul-iman, Akhtar Mirza, Gulshan Nanda and C. J. Pavri and it is directed by Yash Chopra. Trimurti Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Joshila was released on 19th October 1973. Cinematography was done by Fali Mistry and editing by Pran Mehra. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman.
