Joji

The story follows Joji, an abused engineering dropout living with his dominant father and two brothers, who forms a connection with his brothers wife and son, leading to a scheme to expedite his fathers death for financial gain, resulting in a family conflict over inheritance and suspicions about Jojis involvement, ultimately ending with Joji choosing to remain silent about his actions. Joji is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language Crime Drama film featuring Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, Unnimaya Prasad, Basil Joseph, Baburaj Jacob, Shammi Thilakan and Nayan Rosh T M. The movie is inspired from Macbeth by William Shakespeare. Joji was Produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran. Joji is written by Syam Pushkaran and directed by Dileesh Pothan. Amazon Prime Video acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Joji was released on 6th April 2021 and takes a screen time of 113 minutes. Joji was made on a budget of ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Shyju Khalid and editing by Kiran Das. The music was composed by Justin Varghese.
