Jjakpae

Tae-su, a detective fighting organized crime, returns to his hometown for his high school friend Wang-jae s funeral. At the funeral, he meets his old friends Pil-ho, Dong-hwan and Seok-hwan and they reminisce. Suspecting something fishy about Wang-jae s death, Tae-su and Seok-hwan start investigating it each in his own way. Both of their investigations lead to a land development project that Pil-ho is directing and the two embark on a difficult battle. Written by Anon Jjakpae is a 2006 Korean Korean-language Action film featuring Ryoo Seung-wan, Jung Doo-hong, Lee Beom-soo, Jae-mo Ahn, Kil-kang Ahn, Dong-hyeon Baek and Sang-seob Yoo. Jjakpae was Produced by Kim Jung-min and Ryoo Seung-wan. Jjakpae is written by Kim Jung-min, Lee Won-jae and Ryoo Seung-wan and it is directed by Ryoo Seung-wan. CJ Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jjakpae was released on 25th May 2006 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Jjakpae was made on a budget of ₹27 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of $6 million. Cinematography was done by Kim Yeong-cheol and editing by Nam Na-yeong. The music was composed by Bang Jun-seok.
