Childhood friends are forced to pretend to be married to secure a new place to live, but are later kidnapped by Nepal Khan and ultimately reveal their true identities to their loved ones. Jio Pagla is a 2017 Indian Bengali-language Comedy Romance film starring Jisshu Sengupta, Soham Chakraborty, Hiran Chatterjee, Bonny Sengupta, Srabanti Chatterjee, Payel Sarkar and Md. Arman Ahmed. The movie is inspired from Sailesh Dey s Bengali play Joymakali Boarding. Surinder Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nispal Singh. Jio Pagla is written by N. K. Salil and directed by Rabi Kinagi. Surinder Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jio Pagla was released on 17th October 2017 and takes a screen time of 2-34 minutes. Jio Pagla was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹15 lakh. Cinematography was done by Iswar Chandra Barik. The music was composed by Jeet Ganguly along with Jeet Gannguli.
