The film follows Rikki and Alvira, who pretend to be engaged while waiting for their real partners, but end up falling in love with each other and ultimately start dating. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta, Amitabh Bachchan, Piyush Mishra and Natalie Sims Rees. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was Produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is written by Habib Faisal, Anurag Kashyap and Shaad Ali and it is directed by Shaad Ali. Yash Raj Films Pvt. Ltd acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was released on 15th June 2007 and takes a screen time of 132 minutes. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was made on a budget of ₹27 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹27 crore. Cinematography was done by Ayananka Bose and editing by Ritesh Soni. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan and Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
