Genesis Project was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Heyman. The movie is directed by Peter Sykes and John Krish. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Jesus was released on 7th March 1980 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. Jesus was made on a budget of $6 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Barnet Fishbein. Cinematography was done by Mike Reid. The music was composed by Luigi Patruno along with Luciano Salvemini and Nachum Heiman.
