When Jesse learns that Krager is cheating settlers, he and his gang rob trains to obtain money for them to purchase their land. Krager, finding a Jesse look alike in Burns, hires him to wreck havoc on the ranchers. When Jesse kills Burns he switches clothes and goes after the culprits. Written by Maurice VanAuken Jesse James at Bay is a 1941 American English-language Action Comedy motion picture featuring Roy Rogers, George gabby Hayes, George 'gabby' Hayes, Sally Payne, Pierre Watkin, Ivan Miller and Allen D. Sewall. Republic Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joseph Kane. The movie is directed by Joseph Kane. Republic Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Jesse James at Bay was released on 17th October 1941 and takes a screen time of 56-53 minutes.
