Matteela Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Shailja Kejriwal and Mazhar Zaidi. Jeewan Hathi is written by Fasih Bari Khan and directed by Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi. zee5 acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jeewan Hathi was released on 4th November 2016 and takes a screen time of 60 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹6 crore. Cinematography was done by Rana Kamran and editing by Armaghan Hasan. The music was composed by Sahir Ali Bagga along with Ali Aftab Saeed.
