UTV Motion Pictures in association with Hari Om Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez and Red Chillies Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mudra Videotech. Janam Janam is written by Abrar Alvi, Mahesh Bhatt and Suraj Sanim and it is directed by Vijay Sadanah and Mahesh Bhatt. DD National acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Janam Janam was released on 9th September 1988 and takes a screen time of 109 minutes. Cinematography was done by Pravin Bhatt and editing by Renu Saluja. The music was composed by Ajit Verman.
