Jagriti

A rich and spoiled boy named Ajay meets mischievous boys and a poor boy named Shakti at a boarding school, but after Shaktis death due to a car accident caused by Ajay, he transforms into a changed student. Jagriti is a 1954 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama motion picture featuring Abhi Bhattacharya, Ratan Kumar, Rajkumar Gupta, Pranoti Ghosh, Bipin Gupta, Mumtaz Begum and Moolchand. Filmistan Ltd. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S. Mukherjee. Jagriti is written by Satyen Bose, Manoranjan Ghose and Pandit Urmil and it is directed by Satyen Bose. Filmistan Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Jagriti was released on 11th February 1955. The screenplay for the movie was written by Satyen Bose. Cinematography was done by N. V. Srinivas and editing by D. V. Pai. The music was composed by Hemanth Kumar along with Hemant Kumar and Kavi Pradeep.
