Jagira is about a wrongly accused police officer seeking revenge against a corrupt system that is plagued with injustice and oppression. Touchwood Multimedia Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kiran Shroff and Naeem Siddiqui. Jagira is written by Bashir Babar and Ghalib Asad Bhopali and it is directed by Kanti Shah and Kushan Nandy. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Jagira was released on 16th February 2001 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. Jagira was made on a budget of ₹50 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹23 lakh.
