Jagga Jasoos is a story about a young boy with a stammer, who embarks on a journey with a journalist to uncover the mystery behind his adoptive fathers disappearance and becomes entangled in a smuggling operation. Jagga Jasoos is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language Action Adventure movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Saswata Chatterjee, Saurabh Shukla, Sayani Gupta, Ivan Sylvester Rodrigues and Ajay Kumar Singh. Jagga Jasoos was Produced by Anurag Basu, Ranbir Kapoor and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Jagga Jasoos is written by Anurag Basu, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Devesh Kapoor, Samrat Chakraborty and Debatma Mandal and it is directed by Anurag Basu. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Jagga Jasoos was released on 14th July 2017 and takes a screen time of 162 minutes. Jagga Jasoos was made on a budget of ₹131 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹86 crore. Cinematography was done by Ravi Varman and editing by Ajay Sharma. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
