A wealthy girl named Nisha falls in love with Popat Lal while traveling with a dance troupe, but confusion arises when another man claiming to be Popat appears, leading to heartbreak, disbelief, and eventually the revelation that Popats real name is Sunder and they were promised to each other by their parents, despite her fathers disapproval, but before the wedding, it is revealed that Sunder is already married and accused of murdering his wife.
