Iru Mugan is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language Action Sci-Fi film featuring Vikram, Nithya Menen, Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Riythvika and Balaji Venugopal. Thameens Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Shibu Thameens. The film is written and directed by Ananda Shankar and Anand Shankar. Zee Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Iru Mugan was released on 8th September 2016 and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Iru Mugan was made on a budget of ₹40 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹119 crore. Cinematography was done by R. D. Rajasekhar and editing by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
