A man runs away from his Shaolin temple training, but later seeks revenge on the Manchus with the help of a fellow kung fu fighter. Iron Fisted Monk is a 1977 Cantonese-language Action Comedy film featuring Sammo Hung, Chan Sing, Fung Hark-on, Lo Hoi-pang, Sammo Kam-bo Hung, Sing Chen and Chi-yun Yu. Golden Harvest was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Raymond Chow. Iron Fisted Monk is written by Huang Feng, Sammo Hung and Yu Ting and it is directed by Sammo Hung. Golden Harvest acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Iron Fisted Monk was released on 25th August 1977 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $2 million.
