A doctor is arrested for the murder of a minister, but a police officer investigating the case discovers that the doctor is innocent and helps him avenge his sisters murderer. Ira is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language Crime Thriller motion picture featuring Unni Mukundan, Gokul Suresh, Gokul Suresh Gopi, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Niranjana Anoop, Miya George and Nelson Sooranad. Vysakh Udaykrishna Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vysakh and Udaykrishna. Ira is written by Naveen John and directed by Saiju S. S. UK Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Ira was released on 15th March 2018. Ira was made on a budget of $159 million and at the box office it grossed only $8 million. Cinematography was done by Sudheer Surendran and editing by Johnkutty. The music was composed by National Award winner Gopi Sundar.
