A boy witnesses a flying saucer land behind his home and, suspecting an invasion from Mars, teams up with a physician and astronomer to uncover a plot to sabotage a government rocket research plant, ultimately battling green humanoids and escaping from the saucer that later haunts the boys nightmares.
