A boy witnesses a flying saucer land behind his home and, suspecting an invasion from Mars, teams up with a physician and astronomer to uncover a plot to sabotage a government rocket research plant, ultimately battling green humanoids and escaping from the saucer that later haunts the boys nightmares. Invaders from Mars is a 1953 American English-language Horror Sci-Fi film starring Jimmy Hunt, Helena Carter, Arthur Franz, Morris Ankrum, Leif Erickson, Hillary Brooke and Ed Wolff. National Pictures Corp. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Edward L. Alperson Jr. and Edward L. Alperson. The movie is directed by William Cameron Menzies. Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. acquired the distribution rights for the film.
