In Infernal Affairs III, Chan Wing-Yan, an undercover officer, investigates the connection between a Triad boss and a Chinese gang leader, but his loyalty is tested when he is ordered to attack the gang leaders brother, leading to a series of betrayals, shootouts, and a battle of wits between former spies that ultimately leaves one dead and another in a catatonic state. Infernal Affairs 3 is a 2003 Cantonese-language Action Crime film starring Andy Lau, Tony Leung, Leon Lai, Chen Daoming, Kelly Chen, Anthony Wong and Fu Wah Lam. Media Asia Films in association with Tianjin Film Studio, Eastern Dragon Film Co., CMC Group and Basic Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Andrew Lau. Infernal Affairs 3 is written by Felix Chong and Alan Mak and it is directed by Andrew Lau and Alan Mak. Media Asia Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the film. Infernal Affairs 3 was released on 12th December 2003 and takes a screen time of 118 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $4 million. Cinematography was done by Andrew Lau and Ng Man-ching and editing by Danny Pang and Curran Pang. The music was composed by Chan Kwong-wing.
