In the Shadow of the Moon

A police officer investigates a series of bizarre deaths in Philadelphia in the late 1980s, only to encounter a suspect who reveals personal details about his life and predicts her own death, leading to a closed case with unanswered questions; nine years later, as a detective, he faces a copycat killer linked to the same suspect, who is mysteriously still alive, and becomes obsessed with solving a case involving time travel and enlists the help of a doctor, uncovering more victims and theorizing the suspect is moving back in time, but is dismissed and arrested; in 2015, he is kidnapped by the doctor who reveals the suspects justified cause, leading to a confrontation with his own granddaughter as the suspect, and in the end, he allows her to continue her mission, erasing a future tragedy and embracing a new future with his family. Hall, Bokeem Woodbine, Rudi Dharmalingam, Al Maini and Roxanne Wright. 42 in association with Automatik and Nightshade. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brian Kavanaugh-jones, Ben Pugh, Rian Cahill, Linda Moran and Jim Mickle. In the Shadow of the Moon is written by Gregory Weidman and Geoff Tock and it is directed by Jim Mickle. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. In the Shadow of the Moon was released on 27th September 2019 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $2 million. Cinematography was done by David Lanzenberg and editing by Michael Berenbaum. The music was composed by Jeff Grace.
