The movie follows the story of a poor man who falls in love with a wealthy woman only to be rejected by her father, but when she meets someone who looks just like him, its revealed that the man is actually a career criminal. Ilzaam was Produced by Pahlaj Nihalani. Ilzaam is written by Ram Kelkar, Rahi Masoom Reza, Faiz Saleem and Dr. Rahi Masoom Reza and it is directed by Shibu Mitra. Vishaldeep International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Ilzaam was released on 28th February 1986 and takes a screen time of 165 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Ilzaam was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹7 crore. Cinematography was done by Nadeem Khan and editing by Nand Kumar. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri.
