In a future where political tensions rise and economic depression hits due to external pressures, a specially equipped government unit battles a domestic terrorist group while facing opposition and uncovering corruption within their own ranks. Illang: The Wolf Brigade is a 2018 Korean Korean-language Action Sci-Fi motion picture featuring Gang Dong-won, Han Hyo-joo, Jung Woo-sung, Kim Mu-yeol, Han Ye-ri, Choi Min-ho and Won-joong Jung. The movie is based on Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade and characters created by Mamoru Oshii. Lewis Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kim Woo-sang. The movie is directed by Kim Jee-woon. Warner Bros. Korea acquired the distribution rights for the film.
