Ijaazat is a Bollywood film depicting the complex relationship between a divorced couple, the impact of an extramarital affair, and the consequences of their decisions. Ijaazat was Produced by Rajinder Singh Bedi and R.k. Gupta. Ijaazat is written by Subodh Ghosh and Gulzar Kalra and it is directed by Gulzar Kalra. Goldmines Telefilms acquired the distribution rights for the film. Ijaazat was released on 8th July 1987 and takes a screen time of 137 minutes. Cinematography was done by Ashok Mehta and editing by Subhash Sehgal. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman.
