A man pretends to be a successful businessman to win approval from his girlfriends disapproving brother, but ghosts seeking revenge on his ancestors kidnap his girlfriend, leading to a discovery of a larger conspiracy. Idiot is a 2012 Bengali-language Action Comedy movie starring Nick Cave, Srabanti Chatterjee, Ankush Hazra, Aditya Pancholi, Debjani Chatterjee, Rajkumar Patra and Sakib Rafsan. Eskay Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ashok Dhanuka. Trafalgar Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Idiot was released on 16th November 2012 and takes a screen time of 90-118 minutes. Idiot was made on a budget of ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Robbie Ryan and editing by Nick Emerson. The music was composed by Nick Cave.
