Private Joe Bauers, the definition of average American, is selected by the Pentagon to be the guinea pig for a top-secret hibernation program. Forgotten, he awakes five centuries in the future. Ternion was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mike Judge and Elysa Koplovitz. Idiocracy is written by Mike Judge and Etan Cohen and it is directed by Mike Judge. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
