A teenager named Tom Harvey gains the ability to hear phone transmissions and visualize digital signals after a phone shrapnel gets embedded in his head, which he uses to seek revenge on his neighbor Lucys attackers and expose the people behind the attack, ultimately saving his grandmother and reuniting with Lucy. iBOY is a 2017 English-language Action Crime movie featuring Bill Milner, Maisie Williams, Jordan Bolger, Charley Palmer Rothwell, Aymen Hamdouchi, Miranda Richardson and Liam Lawrence. The movie is based on iBoy by Kevin Brooks. iBOY was Produced by Gail Mutrux, Nate Bolotin, Emily Leo, Oliver Roskill and Lucan Toh. iBOY is written by Joe Barton, Kevin Brooks, Mark Denton and Jonny Stockwood and it is directed by Adam Randall. Vertigo Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. iBOY was released on 4th October 2017 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes.
