Velvet Film in association with Artemis Productions and Close Up Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) R Mi Grellety, H Bert Peck and Raoul Peck. I Am Not Your Negro is written by James Baldwin and Raoul Peck and it is directed by Raoul Peck. Magnolia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. I Am Not Your Negro was released on 16th February 2017 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office.
