Hungama is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film starring Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, Rimi Sen, Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav and Jaydutt Vyas. The movie is based on Poochakkoru Mookkuthi by Priyadarshan. Venus Records & Tapes was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bharat S Shah, Ganesh Jain, Pooja Galani and Vijay Galani. Hungama is written by Priyadarshan Nair and Neeraj Vora and it is directed by Priyadarshan Nair. Venus Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Hungama was released on 1st August 2003 and takes a screen time of 146 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Hungama was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹12 crore. Cinematography was done by Tirru and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Nadeem Akhtar Saifi along with Nadeem-shravan and S. P. Venkatesh.
