Humshakal

Two men exchange identities and names due to circumstances, one saves a girl and takes care of her, while the other takes on a secret mission to find a murderer, and they end up staying together like brothers. Humshakal is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language Thriller Mystery movie starring Rajesh Khanna, Moushumi Chatterjee, Tanuja Mukherjee, Ramesh Behl, Govardhan Asrani, Asit Kumar Sen and Meena T. The movie is inspired from Baalu Belagithu. Venus Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) T.govindarajan. Humshakal is written by Inder Raj Anand and Poovai Krishnan and it is directed by Jambulingam. Venus Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Humshakal was released on 1st January 1974 and takes a screen time of 135 mins. The movie made a box office gross of ₹52 crore. Cinematography was done by P. L. Roy and editing by C. P. Jambulingam.
