Hulchul

On his wedding day, a jailer is saved by an inmate during a prison break, leading to the inmate, Kishore, sharing his life story, including his love for Asha, his unjust conviction for murder, and his unwavering determination to overcome the injustice with the help of the jailer and his fellow inmates. Hulchul is a 1951 Indian Hindi-language Drama motion picture starring Dilip Kumar, Yakub, Nargis Dutt, Sitara, Jeevan Omkar Nath Dhar, K.n. Singh and Lala Yaqoob. National Theatres was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. Asif. Hulchul is written by Hasrat Jaipuri and directed by S. K. Ojha. Hindi Film Exchange acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Hulchul was released on 1st January 1951. Hulchul was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by V. N. Reddy and editing by Vithal Banker. The music was composed by Sajjad Hussain along with Mohammed Shafi.
