An eccentric millionaire invites five strangers to a party in a supposedly haunted house and promises each guest 10,000 if they stay the entire night after the doors are locked, but as the night progresses secrets are revealed, ghostly apparitions appear, and the guests begin to suspect that Fredericks fourth wife is plotting against him. William Castle Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) William Castle and Robb White. House on Haunted Hill is written by Robb White and directed by William Castle. Allied Artists acquired the distribution rights for the film. House on Haunted Hill was released on 16th February 1959 and takes a screen time of 75 minutes.
