A neglectful lawyer rediscovers his true identity as Peter Pan in order to save his kidnapped children from the villainous Captain Hook, choosing to prioritize his family over his work. Hook is a 1991 American English-language Adventure Comedy movie starring Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams, Julia Roberts, Bob Hoskins, Maggie Smith, Charlie Korsmo and Ratchanont Sukpragawp. The movie is inspired from Peter and Wendy by J. M. Barrie. Amblin Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Gerald R. Molen. Hook is written by J.m. Barrie, James V. Hart, Nick Castle and Malia Scotch Marmo and it is directed by Steven Spielberg. TriStar Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film.
