As the film opens on an Oklahoma farm during the depression, two simultaneous visitors literally hit.. Honkytonk Man is a 1982 American English-language Comedy Drama motion picture featuring Clint Eastwood, Kyle Eastwood, John Mcintire, Alexa Kenin, Verna Bloom, Matt Clark and Gary Earl. The Malpaso Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Clint Eastwood. Honkytonk Man is written by Clancy Carlile and directed by Clint Eastwood. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Honkytonk Man was released on 15th December 1982 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Honkytonk Man was made on a budget of $2 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $4 million. Cinematography was done by Bruce Surtees and editing by Ferris Webster, Michael Kelly and Joel Cox. The music was composed by Steve Dorff.
