A man enlists the help of a scientist to create a robot to win over the woman he desires, but the robot ends up falling for her as well, leading to complex emotional challenges. Columbia Pictures in association with Revolution Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lou Pitt and Ron Shelton. Hollywood is written by Upendra, Robert Souza and Ron Shelton and it is directed by Ron Shelton. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Hollywood was released on 7th March 2002 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. Hollywood was made on a budget of $75 million and at the box office it grossed only $51 million. Cinematography was done by Barry Peterson and editing by Paul Seydor. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Gurukiran Shetty along with Alex Wurman.
