Hirkani, a resident near the Raigad fort, was injured when she couldnt reach the closing gate in time and after her story was reported to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, he commended her bravery and ordered a wall to be constructed in her name. Hirkani is a 2019 Indian Marathi-language History Drama movie featuring Sonalee Kulkarni, Chinmay Mandlekar, Ameet Khedekar, Siddharth Chandekar, Makrand Deshpande, Hemant Dhome and Niranjan Javir. Irada Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rajesh Mapuskar and Falguni Patel. Hirkani is written by Chinmay Mandlekar and directed by Prasad Oak. Sunshine Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Hirkani was released on 24th October 2019 and takes a screen time of 99 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Hirkani was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹21 crore. Cinematography was done by Sanjay K. Memane. The music was composed by Amitraj.
