A music lover named Rob Gordon struggles with relationships after being dumped by his girlfriend, Laura, and reflects on past experiences while working at a record store with his employees and discovering talented shoplifters. The movie is based on High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. Touchstone Pictures in association with Working Title Films, Dogstar Films and New Crime Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tim Bevan and Rudd Simmons. High Fidelity is written by Nick Hornby, D.v. Devincentis, Steve Pink, John Cusack and Scott Rosenberg and it is directed by Stephen Frears. Buena Vista Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
