Attorney Claire Kubiks husband is arrested for murder, but as the trial progresses, she discovers his involvement in a covert military operation and his true identity, leading to a series of mysterious deaths, a cover-up by high-ranking officials, and ultimately revealing the truth that her husband is the real killer before he is shot by a witness. The movie is inspired from High Crimes by Joseph Finder. Regency Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jesse Beaton, Arnon Milchan and Janet Yang. High Crimes is written by Joseph Finder, Yuri Zeltser and Grace Cary Bickley and it is directed by Carl Franklin. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
