Hero

A gangster kidnaps the daughter of the chief of police, they fall in love, face challenges including betrayal and revenge, but ultimately get married after earning the acceptance of her father. Hero is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama film starring Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Aditya Pancholi, Suraj Pancholi, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vivan Bhatena and Nisha Kalra. The movie is inspired from Hero by Subhash Ghai. Salman Khan Films in association with Mukta Arts and Emmay Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai. Hero is written by Subhash Ghai, Nikhil Advani, Umesh Bist and Nikkhil Advani and it is directed by Nikhil Advani and Nikkhil Advani. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Hero was released on 10th September 2015 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. Hero was made on a budget of ₹36 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹34 crore. Cinematography was done by Tushar Kanti Ray and editing by Ritesh Soni. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Armaan Malik, Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa, Amaal Mallik, Meet Bros Anjjan, Sachin Jigar, Jassi Katyal and Sandeep Shirodkar.
