Hercules is the story of a common man: His actual name is Harakailash, his timid nature and compromising attitude has prompted the local people to call him Hercules in jest. Hercules is a 2014 American English-language Comedy movie starring Dwayne Johnson, Ian Mcshane, Rufus Sewell, Aksel Hennie, Ingrid Bols Berdal, Reece Ritchie and Paoli Dam. The movie is based on Hercules: The Thracian Wars by Steve Moore. Flynn Picture Company in association with Radical Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brett Ratner, Barry Levine and Beau Flynn. Hercules is written by Padmanabha Dasgupta and directed by Abhijit Guha, Sudeshna Roy and Brett Ratner. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Hercules was released on 29th August 2014 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. Hercules was made on a budget of $100 million and at the box office it grossed only $10 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ryan J. Condal and Evan Spiliotopoulos. Cinematography was done by Dante Spinotti and editing by Mark Helfrich and Julia Wong. The music was composed by Neel Dutt along with Fernando Vel Zquez.
