A security guard named Lallan in Mumbai is in love with a girl named Saroja and tries to propose to her after getting a promotion, but complications arise when another woman asks him to marry her daughter and he discovers that Saroja is planning to marry an older man for money, so he tries to raise the money himself, faces obstacles, and ultimately Saroja realizes his love for her and decides to marry him.
