Hawayein

Hawayein is a film that explores the aftermath of the 1984 BlueStar Operation and the assassination of Indias Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, delving into the 1984 Sikh genocide in Delhi and other parts of India, as well as the subsequent victimization of the people of Punjab, portraying authentic events and providing a glimpse into the real-life experiences of the characters, offering an honest exploration of the reasons behind the anger of Punjabs youth and the hardships endured by their families. Hawayein is a 2003 Punjabi-language Drama Romance film featuring Babbu Mann, Mahi Gill, Ammtoje Mann, Mahie Gill, Mukul Dev, Aanandee and Balkaran Wadding. Hawayein was Produced by Babbu Maan and Nippy Dhanoa. Hawayein is written by Ammtoje Mann, Harjit Singh Ricky and Amitoj Maan and it is directed by Ammtoje Mann and Amitoj Maan. Baldev Bhatti acquired the distribution rights for the film. Hawayein was released on 15th August 2003 in Hindi and Punjabi languages and takes a screen time of 176 minutes. Hawayein was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹83 lakh. The music was composed by Babbu Maan along with Babbu Mann.
