Severus Snape meets Lord Voldemort and informs him that Harry Potter will be moved to a safe location; Harry survives an attack during the move, while Mad-Eye Moody and Hedwig are killed, leading the trio to escape to Grimmauld Place and discover that Regulus Black stole Salazar Slytherins locket; Ron leaves due to the lockets influence, but they continue their journey to destroy Horcruxes, encountering Nagini and destroying the locket with the help of Ron; they receive a cryptic message, search for a sword, visit Xenophilius Lovegood and learn about the Deathly Hallows; captured by Snatchers but aided by Dobby, they bury Dobby and Voldemort retrieves the Elder Wand. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was released on 19th November 2010 and takes a screen time of 146 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was made on a budget of $250 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $1342 million.
