A confused writer goes on the search of inspiration for his next story and falls in love with a best seller author who doesn't believe in love. Happy Ending is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Romance movie featuring Saif Ali Khan, Ileana D'cruz, Kalki Koechlin, Govinda, Ranvir Shorey, Kareena Kapoor and Cassandra Maniak. Illuminati Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dinesh Vijan, Saif Ali Khan and Sunil Lulla. Happy Ending is written by Raj Nidimoru, Krishna D.k., Sita Menon and Hussain Dalal and it is directed by Krishna D.k., Raj Nidimoru and Raj And D.k. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Happy Ending was released on 20th November 2014 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. Happy Ending was made on a budget of ₹57 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹22 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Raj Nidimoru, Krishna D.K. and Sita Menon. Cinematography was done by Chase Bowman, Yaron Levy and Mahesh Limaye and editing by Arindam Ghatak and Akiv Ali. The music was composed by Sachin-jigar.
