A martial arts contest held every 18 years leads to a power struggle as the ruler of Eva Palace believes ten villains have stolen charity funds, but her husband disagrees and tries to stop her, leading to their defeat but his paralysis, and many years later their respective disciples become involved in the contest, leading to further betrayal, romantic entanglements, and ultimately the defeat of the villains.
