Halloween II

Halloween II is a 1981 English-language Horror motion picture written by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. The movie is directed by Rick Rosenthal and produced by Debra Hill and John Carpenter under the banner of Dino De Laurentiis Corporation. Originally, Halloween II was intended to be the last chapter of the Halloween series to revolve around Michael Myers and the town of Haddonfield, but after the lackluster reaction to Halloween III: Season of the Witch , Michael Myers was brought back six years later in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers . Halloween ii features Jamie Lee Curtis in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Donald Pleasence, Charles Cyphers, Jeffrey Kramer, Lance Guest, Pamela Susan Shoop and Hunter Von Leer. The music was composed by John Carpenter along with Alan Howarth. Cinematography was done by Dean Cundey and editing by Mark Goldblatt and Skip Schoolnik. The motion picture has a running time of 92 minutes. It was released on 30th October 1981. The Film was successful at box office. Halloween II was made on a budget of $2 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $25 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Universal Pictures.
