During a train journey, Shekhar tries to win over Sanjanas heart, who is still deeply in love with her deceased ex-boyfriend Rohit, but they face challenges together and he confesses his feelings for her despite knowing it will only lead to heartbreak. Haal-e-Dil is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance motion picture featuring Adhyayan Suman, Amita Pathak, Nakuul Mehta, Nassar Abdulla, Bharati Achrekar, Ajay Devgan and Rati Garg. Big Screen Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kumar Mangat Pathak. Haal-e-Dil is written by Shabbir Ahmed, Sajid Ali, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Sanjay Chhel, Aditya Dhar, Munna Dhiman, Dheeraj Rattan and Samee Siddiqui and it is directed by Anil Devgan. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Haal-e-Dil was released on 20th June 2008. Haal-e-Dil was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹0 lakh. Cinematography was done by Rajeev Ravi. The music was composed by Anand Raj Anand along with Pritam Chakraborty, Raghav Sachar and Vishal Bhardwaj.
