The film narrates the story of a paralyzed magician-turned-Radio jockey who files a petition in court seeking permission to end his life. Guzaarish is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film featuring Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shernaz Patel, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Nafisa Ali and Amit Singh Kharbanda. SLB Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ronnie Screwvala and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Guzaarish is written by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhavani Iyer, Vibhu Puri and Turaz and it is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Guzaarish was released on 2nd August 2010 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. Guzaarish was made on a budget of ₹74 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹29 crore. Cinematography was done by Sudeep Chatterjee and editing by Hemal Kothari. The music was composed by National Award winner Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Tubby-parik. At the 2011 IIFA Awards It won an award for Best Cinematography.
