Twin sisters, Asha and Seema, are separated at birth and raised by different families, but reunite years later and both fall in love, leading to confusion and misunderstandings before ultimately finding their way back to each other and their happy ending. Masala Pix was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) R. Kannan. Gustakhi Maaf is written by R. Kannan and directed by Rajkumar Bedi and R. Kannan. Trident Arts acquired the distribution rights for the film. Gustakhi Maaf was released on 1st January 1969 and takes a screen time of 125 minutes. Cinematography was done by Prasanna Kumar and editing by R.K. Selva. The music was composed by Sapan Jagmohan along with Radhan.
