The movie is inspired from Gulliver s Travels by Jonathan Swift. Fleischer Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Max Fleischer. Gullivers Travels is written by Dan Gordon, Cal Howard, Tedd Pierce, Edmond Seward and Isadore Sparber and it is directed by Dave Fleischer, Seymour Kneitel and Willard Bowsky. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Gullivers Travels was released on 22nd December 1939 and takes a screen time of 76 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Gullivers Travels was made on a budget of $112 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $237 million. Cinematography was done by Charles Schettler.
