A teenagers death and the discovery of a decomposed body leads the police to suspect the girls parents, but a detective finds evidence suggesting their innocence, leading to a trial where the parents are convicted. Guilty is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Biography Crime motion picture featuring Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi, Sohum Shah, Atul Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Sushil Dahiya. The movie is based on 2008 Noida double murder case. VB Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vineet Jain and Vishal Bhardwaj. Guilty is written by Vishal Bhardwaj and Aditya Nimbalkar and it is directed by Meghna Gulzar. Junglee Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Guilty was released on 2nd October 2015 and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Guilty was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹30 crore. Cinematography was done by Pankaj Kumar and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Ketan Sodha along with Vishal Bhardwaj.
